Micro Clean offers a full line of air treatment and condensate management options, we offer timer drains or float controlled zero loss drains. Install directly onto drain points from filters, dryers, or air receivers to automatically drain condensate and protect your equipment. Draining condensate prevents water from accumulating causing corrosion, damage, or reduced air storage capacity. Condensed moisture in compressed air systems also contains dirt, fine dust, particles, oil, and microbes.
Our EZD is completely automatic, utilizing a float which electronically controls the discharge valve, a minimum level of liquid is maintained acting as a barrier to prevent any air loss while discharging to maintain peak energy efficiency.
HOW IT WORKS:
Condensate drain lines from filters, separators, or receivers are piped to the Electronic Zero Loss Drain inlet.
As moisture and condensation collects, it must be drained from the system to improve efficiency and performance, prevent damage, and prevent decreasing compressed air capacity.
The liquid level inside collection cylinder rises, which also raises the float.
The float reaches its set point and electronically triggers the discharge valve to open, allowing condensate to discharge.
The condensate level lowers, which lowers the float and triggers the discharge valve to shut before all liquid exits.
The remaining liquid prevents air loss from the system by maintaining a barrier to the atmosphere, achieving the highest energy efficiency.
